Essere means to be and/or to exist in iItalian. Essere the most used word in the Italian language, although despite being the most used word, most of us do not use essere to its full potential. This world is such an amazing place and you can literally be, exist to be, whatever you truly desire and that’s the mindset we hope our apparel can bring to you.

Essere Essentials is inspired by science. Something that makes our founder, Luisa D'Amato unique. Luisa is a educated bio-chemist and content creator (better known as weezasworld on socials) with a love for all things beauty and lifestyle. Having found herself constantly battling to fit-in and fit social norms, Luisa finally realized that she wasn't born to fit in and accepted her unique self as a passionate science nerd who loves a full glam moment! 

Our pieces are limited as they are cut and sew – each piece has been designed from scratch, undergoing rigorous testing for quality and fit. Our apparel is also 100% made in Canada. From cutting, sewing and printing the fabric to the labels, everything is sourced from small Canadian businesses.
